Idonea Terms of Use

Idonea processes your photos only on your phone: they are never sent to any server. See the Privacy Policy for details.

1. Who provides the app

Idonea is an app by [PENDIENTE: owner or company name], located at [PENDIENTE: address], contact [PENDIENTE: contact email]. By using the app you accept these terms.

2. What Idonea does

Idonea prepares photos for official documents (ID cards, passports, visas and others): it removes the background, crops to the chosen document's size, checks the usual requirements and creates a digital photo and a print sheet with several copies.

3. What Idonea does not guarantee

The app's checks are a guide. Whether a photo is accepted or rejected is always up to the authority that issues the document, and its requirements may change.
Before submitting your photo, check the official requirements for the document and country.
The result also depends on the original photo (lighting, background, focus) and on how it is printed: print the sheet at actual size, with no cropping or fitting.

4. Purchases

You can see the result with a watermark for free. To download it without the watermark there are two one-time purchases, with no subscription: "This photo" (all downloads for one document and one photo, and retaking the photo for that document without paying again) and the "7-day pass" (all documents and people for 7 days from purchase).
The price is the one shown by the store at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes.
Payments and refunds are handled by the store (Google Play or the App Store) under its own terms. You can restore your purchases from Settings.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the UK: by asking for the digital content to be delivered immediately, you agree to receive it right away and therefore lose your right of withdrawal once it is downloaded, without prejudice to the store's refund policies.

5. Acceptable use

Only use Idonea with photos of yourself or of people who have given you permission (or of children in your care), and for legitimate purposes. Don't use it to forge documents or to impersonate anyone.

6. Ownership

Your photos are yours. The app, its design, code and brand belong to [PENDIENTE: owner name]. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app on your devices, under the terms of the store you downloaded it from.

7. Liability

We provide the app as is and do our best to make it work well and follow each document's published requirements. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by an authority rejecting a photo, by changes to its requirements or by incorrect printing. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under consumer protection law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we'll publish the new version on this page with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of [PENDIENTE: country, e.g. Spain], without prejudice to the consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
